Native hillside/ Slope retention

Here we covered the slope with Natives such as Toyon, Rhus integrifolia, and Ceanothus 'Yankee Point'. I also added some Perovskia artriplicifolia for splashes of color.

Pots













I love succulents in pots. The droopy ones that spill over the sides, the magnificent flowers that bloom unexpectedly, the gray green foliage and their ability to multiply in what seems like over night.

Volunteered in Ecuador, working with organic farming through FBU, a certified volunteer organization. Assisted local farmers with organic farming techniques. Made organic fertilizer, harvested shade grown coffee, planted vegetables, prepared land. Lived with an Ecuadorian family and practiced speaking Spanish.

2006 Rainbird irrigation training, Anaheim, CA

Attended Rain Bird training school which is designed to improve irrigation knowledge of
landscape architects. Instruction was given from Irrigation Industry Certified Trainers on various field installation techniques, xerigation, and on troubleshooting irrigation systems.
